ACE, Action for Community Empowerment, registered as a non-government organization came in to existence in 2000 by a committed team of professionals from different development streams and academic disciplines. Organization has its headquarter at Bhopal and has state offices in Rajasthan and Bihar.
We establish field offices at our project locations for effective programmatic inputs and to manage the project at local level.
We got registered in 2007 under the Societies Registration Act.
ACE was born to strengthen Governmental and voluntary sector’s efforts in development. We have been actively working with the communities in various development sectors in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Bihar and Jharkhand. We are in the process of expanding our network in Uttar Pradesh also.
ACE has a large and committed team comprising of experts with field experience in Water, Sanitation, Hygiene, Health, Education, Disaster Management, Participatory Planning, Community Monitoring, Project Designing and Strategy Development in Social Development Sector.
In addition, we have a pool of experts to conduct Action-Oriented Research, Documentation, Capacity Building Programmes and Evaluation Studies and to extend Professional Support to development organizations as and when required. We believe in innovating, piloting, disseminating and facilitating processes which enhance community’s pro-active participation and management for their own empowerment; leading to development.
